Vascular and Interventional Associates (VIA) was formed in May, 2003,
as a new division of Radiology Associates of Northern Kentucky, the
largest provider of medical imaging services and interventional radiology
services in the Greater Cincinnati area. It was created to provide
an complete clinical service for patients and referring physicians.
The doctors are the same caring professionals who have been the area’s
leading specialists providing high quality vascular care, spinal care
and other IR therapies since 1968.
Interventional Radiology (IR) is an important advance in patient
care. VIA physicians specialize in minimally invasive, targeted therapies
performed with imaging guidance. IR therapies are easier for the
patient because they involve no large incisions, less risk, less
pain and shorter recovery times.
Our doctors, who have earned additional board certification in IR,
were the first to perform peripheral stenting and angioplasty in
the Greater Cincinnati area. We offer a unique combination of state-of-the-art
non-invasive diagnostic tools (Doppler Ultrasound, MRA and CTA),
and technologically advanced minimally invasive therapy.

IR procedures are an advance in medicine that replace traditional,
open surgery. They are performed with guidance from radiologic imaging
