Diagnostic Imaging
Diagnostic imaging refers to technology
that looks inside your body to
help determine the causes of an injury or illness and ensure
that a diagnosis is accurate. A variety of machines
and techniques can create pictures of the structures and
activities inside your body. These techniques include
X-rays, computed tomography (CT)
scans, magnetic resonance
imaging (MRI), nuclear
medicine scans and ultrasound.
